Local Missions

“It is very exciting to make one on one contact with people, both within the church and beyond. It is very warming to see the impact you can make in a person's life.”

- Stephanie Lichowid

Our Goal

The purpose of the local missions ministry is to meet the physical and spiritual needs of people in our community by sharing the Gospel and tangibly doing things to improve the quality of their lives. Along the way we find joy and grace in the new friendships and bonds we make.

What We Do

In our ministry there are many ways to get involved. When we do our annual coat drive, we need people to come to the church to sort through those coats and others to deliver the coats to the folks in need at different participating areas. Another project we do is the Good Friday Meal Serve. This is an opportunity for people to prepare and donate meals to be fed to the homeless or to come serve on Good Friday and meet the homeless men and women who graciously accept the wonderful meal we have provided for them. There is also a side of our ministry that works directly through the church and members in the community who may have an immediate need like food or an electric bill paid.

Get Involved

There are so many ways to get involved in our ministry, regardless of your schedule or stage in life. Contact Stephanie Lichowid to find out more.
