Become a Leader
As the church grows, we really need individuals who are willing to be trained and mentored in how to lead a connecting group. It is important that the leader is growing in his or her own spiritual journey with Christ and knows how to facilitate group discussion from a particular book of the Bible or subject that is being studied in the group. It is helpful for them to have been part of a Marsh Creek Connecting group in the past so that they know some of the added DNA dynamics that make up the Marsh Creek Connecting Groups. Generally we have three cycles of connecting groups: ones starting in the fall, spring, and the summer (though many of the studies take a break for the summer).
